Trattoria Da Montefusco in Rudersdorf

A really great Italian is hiding in an old building!The food is wonderful here, if I am in the area again I will definitely come back!

As always, whenever I come to Austria, I step from the trattoria of Montefusco to eat from Raffaele and Elisazabeth! "Kindness and courtesy! Italian cooking abroad in the best way! We could not miss a great bufala and an 'equally good first linguine to the rock !!! shortly the photos! Greet the staff! See you tomorrow! Good evening!

Very good

A typical Italian, in the middle of southern Burgenland. The food is great (starter plate, pasta, pizza), the service is warm and child-friendly. Great atmosphere, especially in summer in the courtyard. A bit like vacation at home.

Unfortunately we can not rate anything because there is a free-roaming dog in the local and we were immediately rejected with our little dachshund ... so no local for dog owners! Should you point this out on the homepage, we came from Vienna!

They have real Italian food. The pizza was perfect and the tiramisu was the best I had in a restaurant.

How lucky we have found you. Since our Italian vacation had to be canceled this year, we were very happy about this Italian excursion. Not only is the flair and typical hospitality right, the food is also delicious. Our daughter found the gnocchi even better than in Italy 😉 We'd love to come back.

Mediterranean flair in southern Burgenland with authentic owners and staff. I especially recommend the fish dishes and seafood.

Unfortunately, I come far too rarely. Food is very good, ambience as well. When it's full, service can sometimes take a little longer.

The best Italian restaurant in Austria

Best pizza far and wide. Perhaps the best pizza I've ever eaten. Starters (anti pasti) also very tasty.

Food was ok, if portion of pasta and fried calamari would be a little bit more, wouldn't I also have nothing against. Just check the working hours, because you will be kicked out elegantly if you eat little slower and restaurant is closing. With us was so, that in second that I finished my meal waiter was already there taking my plate away. So next time I will re-think it if I come again...

Today for the first time visit, are from Upper Austria and were very surprised, VERY RECOMMENDED, ITALIAN FLAIR

The meal was excellent. The service is just the opposite. After we finished eating, hardly any staff came to visit us. You have to call the waiter or get him. The glass carafe was served without glasses. After the meal nobody asked us if we wanted a dessert or coffee.Addendum 21.7.This has already been the case many times and not just in one day.And it is not my personal feeling either. We were in a group of about 8 people and everyone is of the same opinion.

I have already visited several restaurants in southern Burgenland and mostly there is not much to say about it. This "trattoria" is worth writing something about. Lovingly furnished, in summer a charming inner courtyard with Italian flair, a cheerful, warm atmosphere in the typical manner of an Italian family business, with nice, hard-working service. Everything the heart desires, including the friendly domestic dog. Your heart will open here. Last, but not least, the food is fresh, typical, lovingly and very tastefully cooked. Here you feel and eat like in Italy. We recommend!

Top cuisine, very friendly and authentic.

If you ask me to choose between the food and the wine ,the wine wins Pinot Grigio 😅.

I know every restaurant probably has a weirdo that tells people that that's the best restaurant in that particular cuisine, but I'm willing to be that weirdo. This place has some truly amazing food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff to boot. Unless you absolutely hate Italian food, which is impossible, this is a guaranteed success.

There are simply the best pizzas here and there! The food is all excellent, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Italian atmosphere is very pleasant and you will be in the holiday mood.

Best Italian restaurant in the area. Can only recommend everyone to stop by. Authentic atmosphere, nice staff. With food: If there is a fish soup, be sure to try it, it is divine. The pizzas are also very tasty, pasta was almost always on point for me. Nice outdoor dining area. Leaves no wish unfulfilled

Once upon a time, but not the best restaurant I think .. I didn't get the taste or the service!

Other restaurants in the area serve just as good pizza. However, they want to make dining convenient for the guest by accepting credit cards. The Trattoria does not. Shrug, move along; the food is passable, but really not so excellent as to put oneself through the bother of using cash.

We enjoyed the evening very much, the food was very good, very friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
